STRIVE Studios
STRIVE Studios is a dedicated visual art and movement program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, that focuses on being in the community, building artistic skills, and encouraging new ideas. Projects incorporate technical skills and personal interests to further develop individual artwork, with support from staff as needed. Our small groups offer experience in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sewing, digital artwork, visiting local museums and galleries, dance, yoga, music, and more.
We also welcome volunteers and community partners for one-time specialty lessons and weekly groups. Our partnerships have included the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Danceability, Sea Change Yoga, 317 Main Community Music Center, and University of Southern Maine.
STRIVE's Tuesday Studio Series
