Career Planning is service that aims to get individuals out in their communities. Through career planning, participants will have the opportunity to visit businesses, learn about different jobs through tours and hands-on experience, and learn about themselves! Career planners collaborate with individuals and their team to help job seekers identify their strengths and goals in preparation for job development.
How long is Career Planning? It will take 60 hours over a maximum of 6 months to complete Career Planning. At PSL Services STRIVE, individuals will meet with a Career Planner between 4-8 hours a week.
What else can Career Planning help with? Career Planners will help individuals and their teams to fill out an application to Vocational Rehabilitation. Career Planners can also assist in getting information on what will happen to public benefits when you go to work.
