Nurse Consultant & CRMA Instructor

Hours: Per Diem, Flexible

PSL/STRIVE is hiring for an RN consultant. This is a per diem position that oversees the medical aspects of our Mental Health program, as well as the instructor for CRMA certifications. The successful candidate must already have a full and current R.N or L.P.N. license.

Essential duties include: providing regular and thorough reviews of all resident care plans involving client charts, comprehensive assessments, Individual Service Plans, MARS and all other relevant medical documents and interventions.; provide supervision and documentation of medication administrative practices for the CRMA training certificate program; provide consultative services to the agency regarding various medical and health needs with residents; provide periodic training to our MHRT-1 staff regarding medical issues, proactive approaches to prevention and dietary topics; provide consultation with agency medical policies; ensure all documentation required meets all Federal and DHHS rules and regulations are up to date.

In addition, the candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated, and hardworking, client centered and can implement positive and natural supports. The candidate must have a full and current R.N or L.P.N. license. Experience in DHHS licensed home and knowledge of DHHS regulations preferred.
