STRIVE U provides post-secondary education and training to young adults with intellectual disabilities in the realms of residential, employment, and community skills with the goal of enabling its graduates to live and work as full community members with maximum independence, productivity, and dignity.
We are looking for a dynamic individual for an awake overnight position. The overnight staff is available to provide support and assistance during the overnight hours in the event that the residents are not sleeping, whether by choice or circumstance. During the time all individuals residing at that location are asleep or not needing assistance, staff will remain awake and perform duties such as cleaning, maintaining case files, organizing, and shoveling when necessary. Hours are Saturdays-Sundays 7:45 pm - 8:15 am. Hours in other programs to make a full-time position may be available to the interested applicant.
This position is the first line of contact for the residents. Individual must be able to be work independently under minimum supervision. Must be able to handle crisis situations if they should arise.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
