STRIVE Program and Events Coordinator
PSL Services/ STRIVE is currently seeking a full-time Coordinator to oversee the STRIVE Programs such as Friday Night Socials, Tweens, Wednesday Night Education, Summer and Vacation Camp and more. This role is also a crucial part of our events team. The Coordinator will assist in planning and organizing agency fundraising events, including STRIVE Rocks, 5K, Annual Auction, and Kevin on the Roof.
This position will also be involved with marketing and publicizing these events, including some social media, website, podcast, and newsletter work. The Coordinator will also work to publicize the programs for new members, and be a primary contact as they enter our programs. They will also be responsible for working with our volunteers, including assisting in recruiting, training, and orienting new agency volunteers and interns.
Candidate must be a flexible, independent worker with self- initiative, possess strong communication skills, handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and have a high attention to detail. Two years of college are required, or equivalent experience. Experience in marketing and event planning would be preferred.
Base hours are Monday Thursday Friday 9am-5pm, and Fridays 1pm-9pm. Evenings and several weekends per year are required with this position.
