Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) Team Leader- Part Time

Hours: PT - 30 Hours/week - flexible schedule Thursday-Sunday

PSL Services/STRIVE is looking for a part-time Team Leader in our Mental Health program at Wall Street. The hours are day shifts and flexible, with at least one shift being on the weekend. A sample schedule would look like:

Thursday 8am-2pm

Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm

Saturday 9am-5pm

Sunday 9am-5pm

Total of 30 hours per week

This role would support a team of MHRT-I certified professionals with task prompting and strengthening skills on the team at our Wall Street program. Duties include medication administration and oversight, reviewing orders from physicians and MAR papers, medical appointment coordination and oversight, fire drills, and safety checklists. This position is also part of the pager rotation, and would be on call once every 2 weeks or so.

Wall Street is a residential supported living program for individuals experiencing a diagnosed chronic major mental illness and who have had a significant history of associated hospitalizations. The overarching goal of our MH programs is to provide the appropriate level, the appropriate frequency, and the specific types of goal-centered supports necessary to assist these individuals to move toward their own goals.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and clean driving record
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health diagnoses
• Experience working well as part of a team and has the ability to motivate team members for daily tasks
• Provide support to clients in home and community settings
• Participate in community activities with clients
• Ensure safe and healthy living environment for clients through assisting with household chores, meal prep and planning and personal hygiene
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
